Microblading is a manual, semi-permanent technique of hyper-realistic eyebrow drawing, in which your eyebrow shape is individually measured according to your face shape and bone structure - one size most certainly does not fit all!

A hand held tool is used to apply a small amount of pigment into the skin. This enables the creation of crisp hair stokes of various lengths and densities, to create a natural, fuller, realistic looking brow.

The Phi Brow method is ideal for patchy brows, asymmetry, badly shaped brows, no eyebrows or just for people who want their eyebrows looking perfect every day. 

Microblading and powder brows, also known ombre brows, are both methods of semi permanent eyebrow make up. However, the finishes they create are very different...

Microblading uses a hand-held device and allows you to achieve realistic looking hair strokes. Due to this, it's often used to create a soft, fluffy and natural looking brow.

Powder brows, on the other hand, generally have a more defined finish; as if you've got them perfectly filled in with your favourite brow makeup.

Then there's the compromise...Combination brows is a treatment that combines the hair strokes associated with microblading treatments and the detailed shading of ombre/powder brows. The result is a defined yet natural brow finish.

Everyone is different! I do all that I can to ensure that the process is as comfortable as possible. Before the Microblading begins, a topical anaesthetic can be applied to the area to minimize discomfort, followed by a liquid anesthetic during the procedure. Some clients may feel a slight discomfort, but it is relatively pain free for most. 

(PLEASE NOTE that if you are a frequent smoker, or have your appointment during your menstrual cycle, the pain level could be intensified.)

Two to three  hours on average. During your appointment I will consult with you the entire time ensuring that we are on the same page. Much of the time is spent measuring and drawing on a symmetrical set of brows and agreeing on your perfect shape and colour. The actual procedure itself takes around an hour. 

The duration of colour retention depends on many factors, such as the oiliness of the skin, sun exposure and activity levels. On average, the colour should last between 12-18 months, but it can be as long as 3 years.

Once we've found you a date, you can secure your booking with a £50 deposit. This deposit is non-refundable within 7 days of your appointment.

Aftercare can account for up to 70% of your healed result, so it is really important that you follow the advice given and use only the products provided to keep your brows looking amzing for longer. 

I provide all of my clients with a tailored aftercare kit and full instructions to take away with them after each appointment. 

There are a number of things that you need to avoid after your treatment, including:

● Increased sweating - 7 days

● Practising sports - 7 days

● Swimming - 14 days

● Hot sauna, hot bath or jacuzzi - 14 days

● Sun tanning or salon tanning - 14 days

● Any laser or chemical treatments or peelings, and/or creams containing Retinol A or Glycolic Acid on the face or neck for 30 days

● Picking, peeling or scratching of the micro-pigmented area in order to avoid scarring of the area or removal of the pigment.

● Performing tasks related to heavy household

cleaning, such as garage or basement cleaning where there is a lot of airborne debris.

● Drinking alcohol in excess as it may lead to slow healing of wounds.

● Driving in open air vehicles such as vehicles, boats,bicycles or motorcycles.

Your eyebrows will go through several phases during the healing cycle.

The pigment will appear very sharp and dark immediately after the procedure. The colour of the pigment will soften gradually. Do not be alarmed if you see your pigment on the cotton swab as this is excess pigment and/or body fluid that is naturally exiting your skin. Once the healing of the skin starts taking place, it will look like dandruff flakes or dry skin. This might give you the impression that the colour pigment is fading too quickly, however, this is just superficial colour and dry skin being naturally removed from your eyebrows. Itching and flaking may appear during the first 7 days post procedure.
